Built by Richard LionHeart, the region showcases the quality and attention to detail for which his creations have become well known throughout the OpenSim community.
Unlike many urban-themed regions, Echoes of the City is not a run-down or abandoned environment. Instead, visitors are welcomed into an attractive seaside town where carefully designed streets, waterfront views and realistic architecture create a relaxing atmosphere that invites exploration. Every corner reveals another attractive scene, making the region particularly rewarding for photographers, machinima creators and anyone who enjoys discovering beautifully built virtual environments.
Shopping is one of the region’s major attractions. Visitors can browse a wide variety of stores offering complete avatars, male and female mesh heads and bodies, clothing collections, footwear, jewellery and an extensive range of avatar accessories. Boutique shops provide additional fashion items and accessories, allowing residents to update their appearance with high-quality free content.
Away from the shopping districts, the town offers cafés, restaurants and bars that add life and realism to the streets. These social spaces blend naturally into the surrounding architecture, giving the region the feel of a genuine coastal community rather than simply another shopping destination.
