Kostak is a delightful little harbour village situated on its own private grid, which currently consists of a single 3 × 3 var region. Designed as a peaceful home on the Hypergrid rather than a commercial destination, Kostak offers visitors a tranquil and natural environment to explore at their own pace.
Visitors arrive at a hillside Welcome Area, where the journey begins with a winding descent through the hills and forest tracks towards the main harbour. As you make your way down, the surroundings gradually open up to reveal the small fishing harbour, surrounded by lush countryside, woodland and the sounds of nature. Birds, animals and other natural touches help create an atmosphere that is both relaxing and immersive.
Kostak has two main beaches to discover. The first is a large, easily accessible beach located not far from the harbour. The second, and perhaps the most popular, is a much more secluded stretch of sand reached by following a forest trail from the harbour. Tucked away among the trees, this quieter beach provides an ideal place to escape, relax or simply enjoy the scenery.
For those who enjoy exploring on horseback, horses can be rezzed in the harbour area, allowing you to follow the trails and discover more of the island. There are paths, tracks and hidden corners throughout the region, so it is worth taking your time rather than simply visiting the main attractions.
On the opposite side of the island you will find a small abandoned town, adding a touch of mystery and providing another area to explore. Nearby there is also a public sandbox for those who wish to build and experiment.
Keep an eye out for the small teleport boards dotted around Kostak. These provide convenient shortcuts around the island and allow visitors to quickly reach some of the main attractions while still leaving plenty of opportunities to discover the less obvious locations for themselves.
Kostak is open for everyone to visit and explore. However, grid registration is disabled because Kostak is not intended to operate as a public or commercial grid. It is a small, privately maintained environment that serves primarily as a home on the Hypergrid, while welcoming visitors who would like to look around.
There are also little surprises and unexpected details scattered around the island for those who take the time to explore. The natural setting makes Kostak particularly suitable for photography, quiet walks, horseback riding, meeting friends or simply finding a secluded spot to sit and enjoy the surroundings.
Kostak is an Adult-rated region, and no child avatars are permitted under any circumstances. Visitors are asked to respect this restriction and the private nature of the grid.
