A thriving virtual world needs more than beautiful regions and active communities—it also needs a reliable economy. Podex is one of the longest-established virtual currency providers in the OpenSim community, offering secure currency exchange services and complete managed economy solutions for participating OpenSim grids. With more than fifteen years of experience, it has become a trusted name for both residents and grid owners.
Residents can easily buy, sell and transfer virtual currencies across supported grids, making it simple to participate in shopping, events and other in-world activities. For many users, Podex provides a convenient and dependable way to manage their virtual funds while supporting a growing network of interconnected virtual worlds.
For grid owners, Podex removes much of the complexity involved in operating a virtual economy. It provides managed currency services, supports integration with compatible money servers and handles the financial infrastructure required to run a professional virtual world. This allows administrators to focus on developing their communities while Podex manages the financial side of the grid.
Podex is represented in-world by the Podex Exchange avatar, which can be found on participating Podex-supported grids. Residents can search for Podex Exchange using their viewer’s Search function and visit the avatar’s profile to locate the nearest Podex office, where they can access exchange services and obtain assistance.
